London Jazz Rock Pianist Composer

NEW ALBUM RELEASE: QUANTUM HOUSE PROJECT
Anders Helmerson, Swedish composer launched – November 2018 – his 4th musical production –
The Quantum House Project. The new team includes two French musicians: on drums Christian
Grassard, on bass Thierry Conand. Recorded at Blue Star Studios in the French Riviera and
mastered at Abbey Road Studios, London. The show represents a new phase of Anders’ own
musical development and reflects an evolution from his previous three albums. The Quantum
House was officially released at Jazz Club in Dean Street, Soho, London on the 3rd of November
2018 during four hours “Solo Piano Performance” by Anders Helmerson. The champagne
reception included Anders’ friends and fans in a relaxing atmosphere.
LIVE SHOW DESCRIPTION
During this important moment of his musical transition, Anders decided to swap the “keyboard
rig” to enjoy playing on the acoustic sound of a grand piano keys. This new setting: grand piano,
drums and bass makes the outcome feels more ‘jazzy’ and organic. The music is energetic and
loud but at the same time lyrical sensitive.
The live performance is beautifully played on grand piano when Anders expresses both his own
relaxing Swedish temperament while performing a few tunes during the show. This contrasts with
very fast tracks when the pianist clearly expresses his on going passion for rock. The new trio
named by Anders Quantum House Project is now playing live shows in Europe. Following by the
successful inauguration live performance at the legendary London jazz club The Vortex on the 4th
September 2018, Anders Helmerson Trio European tour 2018/19 includes at the moment the
following cities: London, Prague, Milan, Paris and Nice.
