I don’t know about you, but just this Friday I was thinking to myself: “why would I want to enjoy this lovely day at home when I could be at a Walmart getting shot at and/or trampled to death so I could acquire a cheap plastic made-in-China item that I don’t need?” No good reason came to mind, so I went out to the balcony, lit another cigar and considered the matter further. What do you think?
On Sunday, December 9 at 8:00 we will be playing a show at The Mint in Los Angeles. It’s going to be our last show anywhere til at least February. I’m taking some time off the road to work on my new record and see what it feels like to sleep in my own bed for more than two days at a time. Tables at The Mint go fast, so if you wanna come, get on it! And yes, we will be playing “The Grinch.” Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Get them HERE.
This week only, we’re selling Bob Malone CDs for FIVE BUCKS! Buy any three of the following titles: “Born Too Late,” “Like It Or Not,” “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” “Halloween,” or the 7″ vinyl single of “I Know He’s Your Husband,” and you get all 3 for a total of $15. And all other individual titles are on sale for $9.99. CLICK HERE, and snap ’em up now!
And finally, those of you who follow me on Facebook or Twitter know that I played a private show last weekend in Las Vegas with John Fogerty. The other act on the bill? Paul McCartney! It didn’t suck at all.
See you out there!
