There are milk banks (at least here in the granola-y Pacific Northwest), but I think they want fresher milk. When Maddie was weaned, I trashed a couple of gallons of milk from our freezer as well…and I did say a few “eulogizing words!” It was nice to have freezer space back, though!btw, Lansinoh makes bags for milk that stack much more neatly and take up much less room than the Medela bags…for future reference. Hands down, Apples app store wins by a mile. Its a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but Im not sure Id want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

There are milk banks (at least here in the granola-y Pacific Northwest), but I think they want fresher milk. When Maddie was weaned, I trashed a couple of gallons of milk from our freezer as well…and I did say a few “eulogizing words!” It was nice to have freezer space back, though!btw, Lansinoh makes bags for milk that stack much more neatly and take up much less room than the Medela bags…for future reference. (I don’t work for Lansinoh, but I tried dozens–ok, three–types of storage bags!)

Today, I went to the beach with my children. There are myriad reasons NOT to put an engine on a barge. Even canal boats, I understand, were always pulled by donkeys (or donkey engines). I purchased these wrist straps for use with my cell phone. They are well made and not too bulky. I like the fact that these straps do not have metal fasteners or attachments that could rub against and scratch the screen of my phone. I find the wrist strap length (of about six inches) to be ideal as I can easily hold and manipulate the phone while wearing the strap, but it is not too long that it would get in the way.

See, this was something that bothered me, but now it makes more sense. Having grown up on the Mississippi, barges are _never_self powered. Rafts of barges are pushed by tugs. There are myriad reasons NOT to put an engine on a barge. Even canal boats, I understand, were always pulled by donkeys (or donkey engines). Yeah I get the difference I just think that they've become to a degree interchangeable. And I definitely think you can be loyal to a book and not a movie and vice versa. I find myself enjoying the LOTR movies quite a bit more than the books for example. The real test will be if I like the Hobbit movie better since the Hobbit book is my favorite.
