Charmayne Maxwell was part of the iconic singing group Brownstone, which wowed the world during the 1990s.  Now, she is no longer with us after a freak accident took her life.

According to TMZ, Charmayne was attending a soccer game in Denmark and experienced a sudden fall.  Danish media is describing the incident as an accident.

Maxwell was married to Danish music producer Carsten Soulshock.

Media has no other details of what happened to the singer or how she died.  Friends are speaking out about her death on social media.  Teisha Brown, who was also a member of the group, says that she wishes she could be on-stage one more time with her beloved friend.

“I just need to be by you 1 more time on stage MAX!”

The group once sang on Michael Jackson’s MJJ label.  Their biggest hit was the song, “If you love me.”  You can hear the song below to bring back some fond memories.  Don’t you love that group?

You can listen to the group sing their hit song in the video below.

So sad to hear of her passing. Loved Brownstone!! They were real singers not like these non talented studio mixed performers that are out now.

Sincere condolences to her husband, family and friends for their lost. I still have their debut CD from back in the day. My favorite of all, Heard It Through the Grapevine. Rest in Peace.
