GRAHAM BONNET

2022

Hey everyone Graham here! I am super excited that tomorrow the first single off the new Graham Bonnet Band album debuts with a corresponding video. The album is called Day Out in Nowhere on Frontiers Music srl. The song is called “Imposter” and we can’t wait to hear what you think!

Great news! As we near the end of the recording phase of the new Graham Bonnet Band album, we have another great guest announcement. We are proud to have on board, Roy Z. Roy is an amazing guitarist, songwriter and producer. He has played with many great artists including Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford and Tribe of Gypsies. As a producer he has worked with Judas Priest, Helloween, Yngwie Malmsteen, Sepultura and many others. This album is shaping up to be fantastic and Roy just pushes it over the edge of cool.

2021

Hi all! Graham here. The cat’s out of the bag! It is with tremendous pride and excitement that I am announcing that Jeff Loomis (currently with Arch Enemy, formerly of Nevermore) is officially the new guitar player of Graham Bonnet’s Alcatrazz. Jeff is a power-house of a musician, a brilliant writer and a great guy. His skills are unparalleled and I am thrilled at the prospect of recreating the magic of the early days of Alcatrazz but with a modern, heavier sound. When I first heard Jeff, I was astonished by his technique coupled with his great feel and incredible melodies. You can have a little taste of it on the upcoming Graham Bonnet Band album as Jeff is one of our guests.” Below is Jeff’s official statement…..
“Hey everyone,
I’m super excited to be working with Graham Bonnet. I’ve been a long time fan of his vocals and lyrics for many years, and it’s going to be an honor to craft some amazing music together and play some select live shows. I want to let you all know I’m still a very active member of Arch Enemy and will be seeing you all on the road very soon with them.”
Just to be clear, Jeff is still an active member of Arch Enemy as I am still with the Graham Bonnet Band. More news coming soon……

Congratulations Graham

New Graham Bonnet CD released last week. It’s always nice when someone compliments me on my technical ability and to be recognized for my writing and composition skills means so much to me! Thoroughly enjoyed writing this record with one of my all-time favorite vocalists. Here’s the review from sonicperspectives.com – full review link below

“…Heavyweight Shrapnel Shredder Joey Tafolla actually plays on virtually the entire album, and this is a huge part of the record’s value…” “…In fact, unusually for a vocalist solo project (and yet perhaps in keeping with Eat ‘em and Smile), “…the instrumentation is the strongest part of the entire package. The compositions are straight-ahead rockers with old-school flavor, usually falling somewhere between Rainbow and Whitesnake with some seasoning reminiscent of Voodoo Circle. The guitar parts have eighties Ozzy written all over them, with occasional bits of everything from Yngwie to Oliva, and of course tasty chunks of Shrapnel Shred a la Gilbert make appearances – and are most welcome.

Instrumentally, in terms of composition, tempo, groove, and medium complexity, the album is a good straight up rocker…”
