AMA Music Festival is pleased to announce the first edition names 2016, to be held August 23 to 28 in Asolo (Treviso) and that confirm, once again, the international scope and the ambition to become a landmark event in Italy and in Europe, for music, performing arts, culture and sustainable tourism.

Vitalic (Live)
Once upon a time there was the “French Touch”. Vitalic, aka Pascal Arbez, moves between French disco, the central european influences of its German period and sounds from every corner of Europe. Vitalic opens the borders and breaks down every barrier, and boasts among its fans the great Giorgio Moroder, Jack White and his compatriots Daft Punk. The french musician returns to Italy with his live set, an irresistible blend of electropunk and darkwave riff.

Thee Oh Sees
No one seems to stop the incredible rise of The Oh Sees, from punk lo-fi of the beginnings up to be considered among the giants of that blend of garage and psychedelia. With their vast discography, their live shows are legendary thanks to the charisma and musical fury of their leader, John Dwyer.

Funeral Suits
Coming all the way from Ireland, they have conquered the public of the world wide web with the single “All Those Friendly People.” The Funeral Suits play rock, sometimes dark and fierce, other times full of energy and adrenaline. They released a few days ago a new single, the beautiful “Tree of Life”, which anticipates a new album, a comeback expected since 2013.

After the success of 2015 edition, which saw on stage Verdena, Gogol Bordello, Digitalism, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, Jennifer Gentle and many others, for a total of 40,000 attendees, AMA FESTIVAL MUSIC comes back in 2016 and tip even higher. A wide offer that is not limited to the musical bill. AMA MUSIC FESTIVAL means Asolo, in other words culture, history, sustainable tourism, wine and food tours.
AMA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2016 will not be just a serie of events but a real festival, where music, performing arts and cultural routes will intertwine with the breathtaking territory. LOCATION
AMA MUSIC FESTIVAL is located in Asolo, “the city of 100 horizons”, a little gem set among the green hills at the foot of the Alps and Venice. Asolo was named in 2015 “Italy’s Most Beautiful Village” and is a tourist destination of international level, loved throughout history by Ernest Hemingway, Eleonora Duse and Freya Stark .
Surrounded by ancient walls that branch out from the fortress, a 12th century fortress, Asolo reminds in every corner its long history. Asolo allows guests to satisfy all kind of tourism tastes: the Canova museums and the nearby Palladian villas for art and architecture lover, walks on the hills surrounding the city for nature lovers, and for lovers of fine cuisine, the traditional products Venetian cuisine and the world famous Prosecco.
Asolo City Park is the new green area at the foot of Asolo hills: a 40,000 square meters arena for concerts with two stages, market area, chill out area, an area dedicated to local and world wide food & beverage and an area for art installations and performaces.
