It is with great sadness that we let you know everybody’s favorite jazz supporter, Peter Stanley Cox, passed away this week aer a long battle with cancer.Throughout his illness, Peter still managed to attend as many concerts as he could fit into the week, popping up at countless venues with his warm demeanor and sharp wit. Jazz music meant the world to Peter and his appreciation for music and commitment to the community was unfaltering.

Peter’s family and friends will be holding a musical memorial at Roulette on Wednesday, March 27, 8pm. All are welcome to attend/perform. If you are able to perform, please let us know in advance if possible.

Please help spread the word about the memorial. Over his 20 years in New York, Peter touched so many lives. His family, flying in from England, is eager to meet his all of his beloved musical family.
