Jessica Taylor has sung for and with many notable groups. Including, Grammy Award Winners, The Winan Brothers. She’s worked for and with: Lennie Williams, Ronnie Hudson, Henry Franklin, Barbara Morrison, to name a few. Headlined alone and again with: Lennie Williams & Kirk Whalum at The Immaculate Conception Church Seattle WA.

She was ‘The Dish’ with two Popular Platter’s groups for 20 years where she enjoyed traveling several countries around the world with a Celebrity Status.
The first group was known as, ‘The Amazing Platters, Eddie Daniels, who was the vocal bass man from Zola Taylor the Original female singer of This Famous Group. The last one she toured with was, ‘The Platters’ Featuring, The Legendary Monroe Powell who was hired by Buck Ram the writer & composer of, “Only You and manager/founder of: ‘The Famous Platters’.

July 31, 2015, she was recognized as a Jazz Living Legend at LACMA-The Los Angeles County Museum of Art and awarded three certificates from, The Jazz Living Legend Foundation,
The County of LA, signed by Mark Ridley-Thomas Supervisor, Second District, The City of LA, signed by Mayor, Eric Garcetti and a Jazzaration Awards plaque engraved with her name.
Jessica is a strong solo performer and lead singer with a great vocal range. She also does session work <3 XOxsings background and has a great ear for harmony. Currently performing as a solo artist and promoting her CD entitled, `I Believe’ which is sold on CD Baby and many other music outlets.

Recent: 2018 Winner of, Deserts Got Talent, Palm Springs CA. Annenberg Theater
Performed with, well known drummer-Alvin Taylor, Percussionist from KC& The Sunshine Band-Oliver Brown, Neil Cohen & Grammy Nominee, Chris Bennett.
She performs: Standards, Jazz, R/B, Gospel, Contemporary, and even a little C&W music. Musical & Vocal Influences are: Gladys Knight, Aretha Franklin, Cleo Laine, Patti Labelle,
Dinah Washington & Nancy Wilson.
