JOSEPH MORGANFIELD

2020

You’re gonna be hearing a lot more from this famous Chicago blues name and Son of THE BLUES. Yea, that’s right, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. This is Muddy Waters’ youngst son, a rising star in the blues world… some well deserved major press for Joseph Mojo Morganfield in the The Chicago Sun-Times!!
New recording, digital single out now on Delmark Records, with harp ace and Chicago blues ambassador, Billy Branch, along with another famous son of the Blues, guitar star, Ronnie Baker Brooks (Lonnie Brooks’ son). And the vastly underrated multi-talented Brother John Kattke on keys!! This killer new song, “It’s Good To Be King” also features Muddy Waters’ last rhythm guitarist, Rick Kreher.
