Hi JEAN PAUL,I’m emailing to see if you would be interested in purchasing an exclusive interview with music English Hollywood icon and Oscar winner, Kate Winslet.Having been nominated five times previously, Winslet won the Oscar for ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ in 2009 for her role in The Reader. Her latest film, Labor Day, is released next month and also stars Josh Brolin and Tobey Maguire.

Having married for the third time in December last year and announcing in June this year she is pregnant for the third time also, we have just interviewed Winslet to mark her Labor Day’s release. In the interview Winslet talks about her family life, her refusal to go under the knife for plastic surgery, and the pitfalls of being a celebrity in the digital age.

Here are a few excerpts:

On being a celebrity in the 21^st Century…
“It’s really rough I think now for young actors and actresses and pop stars in particular… And it’s feeding this young generation and in a way that is just beyond terrifying, so normal friendships aren’t even normal friendships anymore because half the time, they seem to be forging relationships with people they have never met that they have seen in some cyber village.”

On juggling her career and being a mother…
“I think it’s just as much of a juggle for me as it is for any working mother.  I mean, actually, I think it’s harder for other working mothers who really do have full-time jobs.  It just is a juggle and you just somehow pull it together and it works.”

On her refusal to go under the knife for plastic surgery…
“I just wouldn’t want to do that to myself.  I care about myself and there are other ways of caring, I think, about one’s appearance that doesn’t involve injections and being carved up for dinner.”
