With an estimated global audience of 120 million, Downton Abbey has won numerous awards such as the ‘Golden Globe Award for Best Miniseries or Television Film’ and a ‘Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie,’ along with being the most successful British drama series since 1981.

There are some new cast members, including Richard E Grant, Anna Chancellor, Rade Sherbedgia and Dame Harriet Walter, who will join the regular cast of stars such as Dame Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern, Sophie McShera, Rob James-Collier and Jim Carter, among others.
