RIP Joe Jonas…
When I met Joe I thought he was the personal driver for Sam Meyers little did I know that he was such a fine blues singer and musician in his own right with the career that goes back many decades . Nobody could swing a tune like Joe Jonas he can flip from shuffle to rumba and no time at all and have folks on their feet all over the room. And nobody but nobody could do ‘Strokin’ like Joe Jonas …. Ooooooweee!
For years my sister-in-law would tell me of her uncle who sang the blues in Texas little did I know that the person she was talking about was Joe Jonas. During her visit to Texas, it all came together.
He, Sam Myers and my friend Jackie are togther again!
