 NIL YALTER
Pioneer in the French feminist art movement of the 1970s, renowned Paris-based artist Nil Yalter, was educated at Robert College, the prestigious American secondary educational institution in Istanbul. An active member of the French counterculture and revolutionary political movement of the late 1960s, her work is multi-media including drawing, photography, video, and performance art.
Her work has been exhibited and is in permanent collections of the
TATE MODERN, CENTRE POMPIDOU, THE FONDS NATIONAL D’ART CONTEMPORAIN, MUSEUM OF MODERN ART PS1 GALLERIES, amongst others.

Pionnier dans le mouvement des années 1970 de l’art féministe francais, l’artiste renom basé à Paris Nil Yalter, a été instruit au collège Robert, le prestigieux établissement d’enseignement secondaire américain à Istanbul. Un membre actif à la contre-culture française et le mouvement politique révolutionnaire à la fin des années 1960, son travail est multi-media incluant le dessin, la photographie, la video et la performance de l’art.
Son travail a été exposé et fait parti des collections permanentes du
TATE MODERN, CENTRE POMPIDOU, FONDS NATIONAL D’ART CONTEMPORAIN, MUSEE D’ART MODERNE PS1 GALLERIES, et bien d’autres.
