Hi NickI was wondering if you could help me with this?Have you noticed in C4D R12′s new Render Queue that you’re unable to see visual feedback for the GI Prepass when rendering a GI scene? Is there any workaround to this? I fired off a render recently and after 70 hours it is still in prepass mode and without any verbal or visual feedback, I have no clue when this will be done.. I know normally you don’t really get an ETA for GI Prepasses anyway but at least the picture viewer shows you which phase it is in (Prepass 5 of 12… etc.)Any insight you can give on this would be much appreciated. Have used the Airblade many times. It’s putrid. I’ve never been able to use it without my (small) hands touching some part of the top area. And the other person I saw use it was cursing it because her hands touched it too. They need to make the spacing about 3 cm more at least.

Why is it necessary to start the process 18 months before election? Why not set limits of time AND funds spent on campaigining to rein in this circus run amock (at all levels of government). I first met Lester when I was working at the front desk at NDC. He would call and ask about the weather and how I was doing and of course we would talk about fishing. We always had a great conversation. When I moved away from the front desk, he came and found me and wanted to see how my new job was. He was a great man and friend to me. I think we’ve long forgotten what deeaominttirn really means, and one of the results has been specialized tools and even more manufacturing People got along with a few saws, a few planes and some sweat for quite a long time. FFD – the last time I used it, I had real photography of an object and needed to create a realistic reflection. I used a not-so-photo-real model and did my best to match the background plate using the C4D camera. Since it’s incredibly hard to get a CG camera to match a real camera if you haven’t planned for it, I used FFD to tweak the low res model to more precisely match the perspective distortion of the photo so the reflection would line up correctly. It would have been better to plan for it and use Photomatch, but if there was any planning, it never would have been getting the reflective floor treatment in the first place.SBG

See, this was something that bothered me, but now it makes more sense. Having grown up on the Mississippi, barges are _never_self powered. Rafts of barges are pushed by tugs. There are myriad reasons NOT to put an engine on a barge. Even canal boats, I understand, were always pulled by donkeys (or donkey engines). However, if you are an author who needs to turn them into a force in a foreign land–THEN it makes sense to have them be self powered! [G]

hey nick good stuff, i kinda dived straight into some of the more complex tutorials without learning the basics, so going back to these.One object i have my heart set on modelling is a rubiks cube, i eventually came accross the tutorial for making it, now I am stuck on animating the thing, rotating the edges etc. the problem i am having is animating the edges individually, i have tried grouping the different faces and animating that way which works fine until i wanna animate a side that shares the same cube but different color. Im sure there is a simple solution to this if you could shed some light on it, that would be greatfully appreciated.Cheers.

In that regard, it's truly deserving.I think you miss the point, though, Chez, in how critics (including armchair critics like me) derisively compare "Avatar" to "Dances with Wolves." The comparison is in the fact that "Avatar" is virtually a carbon copy of "Dances." It's "Dances with Wolves in Space." I mean, no kidding. I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin Costner filed a lawsuit.Yes, "Dances" won Best Picture. Maybe it was deserving, maybe not. But copycatting an Oscar-winning film doesn't make you deserving of an Oscar.
Today, I went to the beach with my children. Hi NickI was wondering if you could help me with this?Have you noticed in C4D R12′s new Render Queue that you’re unable to see visual feedback for the GI Prepass when rendering a GI scene? Is there any workaround to this? I fired off a render recently and after 70 hours it is still in prepass mode and without any verbal or visual feedback, I have no clue when this will be done.. I know normally you don’t really get an ETA for GI Prepasses anyway but at least the picture viewer shows you which phase it is in (Prepass 5 of 12… etc.)Any insight you can give on this would be much appreciated. Ben the problem is Internet Service Providers will give away all your recorded data that are stored on their hard drives to law enforcement agencies, they work with them but are paid by us for their services. Have used the Airblade many times. It’s putrid. I’ve never been able to use it without my (small) hands touching some part of the top area. And the other person I saw use it was cursing it because her hands touched it too. They need to make the spacing about 3 cm more at least.
