Member of group Brownstone suddenly dies in Denmark
Charmayne Maxwell was part of the iconic singing group Brownstone, which wowed the world during the 1990s. Now, she is no longer with us after a freak accident took her life.
According to TMZ, Charmayne was attending a soccer game in Denmark and experienced a sudden fall. Danish media is describing the incident as an accident.
Maxwell was married to Danish music producer Carsten Soulshock.
Media has no other details of what happened to the singer or how she died. Friends are speaking out about her death on social media. Teisha Brown, who was also a member of the group, says that she wishes she could be on-stage one more time with her beloved friend.
“I just need to be by you 1 more time on stage MAX!”
The group once sang on Michael Jackson’s MJJ label. Their biggest hit was the song, “If you love me.” You can hear the song below to bring back some fond memories. Don’t you love that group?

A beautiful voice and unexpected death however life is a mystery we do not know the day and hour our Lord and Savior will come for us when your name is called you will answer…. Her time on this earth was amazing and wonderful now she will sing in the ” Heavenly Choir”” for all the saints… And thank you for sharing your gift and talent …..

o wow at this. “I Can’t Tell You Why” and “Five Miles To Empty” are my ULTIAMTE favorite tho. so sorry to hear this. i think further in-depth investigation is needed too because damn – she’s living in Denmark – married to some foreigner too..aint no tellin what the hell happen to her, despite the fact that they’re saying she had a freak accident by falling.

Sincere condolences to her husband, family and friends for their lost. I still have their debut CD from back in the day. My favorite of all, Heard It Through the Grapevine. Rest in Peace.
