It’s with a very heavy heart that I share the news that Larry Brown passed away early this morning due to his COVID-19 illness. Although this news just arrived, we are attempting to get more information and will be trying to see if it’s possible to have him buried with his mother. For those of you that have seen the film, you know how much she meant to him and that locating her grave last year, and performing the song he wrote for her, was an important and cathartic moment for Larry. Larry had dedicated himself to being a force for good and bringing joy to as many people as possible. He spent much time over the past two years playing in Washington Square Park and the NYC subways to support himself and spread the joy of his music. Rest In Peace, my friend.
