THE BILLY PRICE Infos

The official release date for Strong, my 13th album and first studio recording since 2009, is June 4, 2013. You can buy it now at the Billy Price Band website.

The early reviews have been great. Tom Hyslop, longtime writer for Blues Revue and other publications, said this:

We are planning five–that’s right, five–CD release parties in some of our favorite locales: Pittsburgh (of course), Philadelphia, State College, Pa., Washington, Pa., and the Washington DC area.

For all five of the shows I am about to tell you about, fans who attend and buy a copy of Strong will receive a free download of a song we recorded with help from Pittsburgh rocker Joe Grushecky, “Burning a Hole in My Heart.” Joe wrote it and sang with me on the chorus, and it is damn good. It’s not on the album and is available for free exclusively for people who come to one of these shows.

The festivities begin at 8 pm on Friday, June 21 when doors open at Pittsburgh’s best performance space, the Club Café on the South Side, for a 9:00 show. Tickets are limited and are going fast, so if you want to be there to help us celebrate, get your tickets now.
