We were Soldiers isn’t bad, however, I have a cuople of problems with the movie: 1. It was at times easy to foreshadow.2. The battle scene didn’t look like Vietnam to me, I could tell it was Southern California. LOL3. At times Mel Gibson’s dialogue was cliche’ and overly country accent. However, I couldn’t call myself a patriot (which by the way should be on this list!) if I didn’t think it had merit. The thing I like best about We were Soldiers is it portrayed how our government wasn’t ready for this conflict and how the soldiers families weren’t prepared for the results. Don’t get me started on the subject of civil rights, that a black man was expected to serve and possibly die for his country and yet there were places he couldn’t eat or do his laundry. Not my favorite, but I’ll give your pic props!

If the machine can be running Windows XP, for instance, the particular memory limit is 3.25GB. Applying in excess of this would just constitute a waste. A friend of mine pumped extra for freezing while she was breastfeeding her son. Her 9-year-old nephew had cancer and she shipped her frozen breastmilk to him – apparently while he was undergoing treatment for the cancer, breastmilk was one of the best/only nutritive things he could keep down, because it’s so easily digestible. Of course, that breastmilk (like the milk in milk banks) had to be pasteurized prior to his getting it.
I love Drupal and I know it can do the blog stuff without any trouble. I use it for many sites, mainly with the audio module for podcasts, great software. I usually prefer WordPress for throwing up a quick blog though, it’s more focused on blogging, simple and I much prefer the automatic upgrade system. Drupal isn’t that hard to upgrade but it involves a bit more work uploading the files and so on. Any small amount of time saved can be valuable for me with so many sites to manage. We were Soldiers isn’t bad, however, I have a cuople of problems with the movie: 1. It was at times easy to foreshadow.2. The battle scene didn’t look like Vietnam to me, I could tell it was Southern California. LOL3. At times Mel Gibson’s dialogue was cliche’ and overly country accent. However, I couldn’t call myself a patriot (which by the way should be on this list!) if I didn’t think it had merit. The thing I like best about We were Soldiers is it portrayed how our government wasn’t ready for this conflict and how the soldiers families weren’t prepared for the results. Don’t get me started on the subject of civil rights, that a black man was expected to serve and possibly die for his country and yet there were places he couldn’t eat or do his laundry. Not my favorite, but I’ll give your pic props!

– Interesting idea, I have thought that myself at times. Our phones are becoming our computers more and more, I see that at lot everywhere I go. Apple is doing well in this market with the iPhone but people are really interested in the G1 and Android as a platform. I know it’s not as open as it could be in some respects and Google has a monopoly of it’s own but it looks like a decent platform to me. It’s certainly more open than the iPhone and it’s got a Linux kernel under the hood after all. The idea of carrying your computer in your pocket and just connecting it to peripherals when needed is appealing I agree.

Good blog post. What I would like to contribute is that laptop memory should be purchased when your computer cannot cope with whatever you do by using it. One can deploy two good old ram boards having 1GB each, as an illustration, but not one of 1GB and one with 2GB. One should always check the manufacturer’s documentation for the PC to be certain what type of storage is necessary.

One thing I would like to say is that before getting more pc memory, look at the machine in which it can be installed. If the machine can be running Windows XP, for instance, the particular memory limit is 3.25GB. Applying in excess of this would just constitute a waste. Make sure that one’s mother board can handle this upgrade volume, as well. Great blog post.
Thanks for the feedback, James. We are trying to be sure as many of the textures are as tillable as possible. Many of them were created to use the “Seamless” checkbox. However, moving forward, we hope to have more textures that render seamlessly or are at scales that don’t require tiling. One last thing, there are over 150 procedural textures that don’t require any tiling.

But do downtimers of that era generally interchange both spellings as freely as we might, today? Does anyone have any statistics regarding how often each was used (heh, when it was used at all) in the various 163x canon stories? Which spelling was the more preferred, back then?

A friend of mine pumped extra for freezing while she was breastfeeding her son. In both instances, Gregory makes a fair point, plus he takes a shot at landing a high profile guest for the show. It's not a bad pitch.

I love Drupal and I know it can do the blog stuff without any trouble. I use it for many sites, mainly with the audio module for podcasts, great software. I usually prefer WordPress for throwing up a quick blog though, it’s more focused on blogging, simple and I much prefer the automatic upgrade system. Drupal isn’t that hard to upgrade but it involves a bit more work uploading the files and so on. Any small amount of time saved can be valuable for me with so many sites to manage.
