Phill Reynolds, aka Silva Cantele (guitar player with the garage band Miss Chain & The Broken Heels, Burger Records) started this solo project few years ago. Since then he released 1 album (fully recorded with an iPhone), 2 split (w/ italian folk singers Threelakesn and Veronica B.) and an Ep.
His music its evolving from the delta blues of the begininng to a modern style of folk, influenced by The Tallest Man On Earth, The Weakerthans and the punk approach of Bad Religion and Propaghandi.
Love and Rage talks about the last ones, about the desparation of addictions, about migrants on a rusty boat, about victims of capitalism working on indian factories but also talks about love, friendships and time.
