Actually I’ve finally got it working. What I did was, well what I didn’t do was, I didn’t um, merge all those fractures in a cube section together. I’ve just added fracture tag and then add dynamics to that and bam, it worked like a charm. Thanks for another great tutorial Nick!

The individual camera moves look good and I like the lighting. However you could improve on the storyboarding/editing – it looks too random to me. The jumpcuts are a bit strange and also how you cut in between moves. Check out “Film Directing Shot by Shot” by Steven D. Katz! It helped me a lot with this stuff!

Glad you liked the account. It's frustrated me for a while not to get more detailed info about tadelakt so this was my chance. The photos were a challenge because of the dark space where the floor was done and yet I wanted to convey a sense of the materials and the feeling. The cheapest plug in for Photoshop that I've found and the most versatile is one called Topaz. For these shots I used a preset that I probably wouldn't use for anything else, but in this case it did the job.

My grandfather and grandmother (Francisco Quiroz and Rosa Sotelo moved from Caborca to Arizona in 1912. Actually I’ve finally got it working. What I did was, well what I didn’t do was, I didn’t um, merge all those fractures in a cube section together. I’ve just added fracture tag and then add dynamics to that and bam, it worked like a charm. Thanks for another great tutorial Nick!

If we could break down privacy into it’s components in the same way we have say the GPL license, then a company could just maybe have a checklist like table with a tick mark for those aspects that apply.Of course this will remove the ability of a company to quietly slip in a few disclaimers (which lets face it, most want to do) without informing their user base so I can’t really see it coming into force. Well it’s good to know you can get NVIDIA drivers working properly. I too fumbled around trying to do it and I had to reinstall twice. I finally gave up and am sticking with Fedora 11 for now and I might even not upgrade at all. As far as everything else goes, I was so P.O. I didn’t even get to try out anything on it. Maybe I should go back and try again and give it the old college try. I just haven’t decided yet.

I installed Mint, was hooked in on lan and got the drivers, unplugged the lan and wireless was up.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

There are so many fantastic local spots in Austin, but I would have to say my favorite hidden gem is Avenue B Grocery in Hyde Park. I almost always get the special sandwich of the day and have never been disappointed. In fact, I will drop everything and head there for lunch if I hear the special is pulled pork…..YUM!!
