Earthforce Fight Squad/Guerriers Pacifistes, organisation non gouvernementale (ONG) à but non lucratif et non subventionnée, dépendant uniquement des fonds propres et des dons a besoin de vous pour sa campagne contre la vente et la consommation de la viande de requin.La surpêche intensive de ce poisson pour sa chair et ses ailerons le menace d’extinction et risque ainsi de déséquilibrer tout l’écosystème marin.Les Français métropolitains et d’outremer le trouvent de plus en plus souvent,sous forme de darne surgelée dans les bacs des supermarchés où il remplace l’espadon et le marlin. Aux Antilles il se retrouve très fréquemment sur les menus des restaurants et dans les assiettes.Il n’est plus rare de le voir frais dans la glace des poissonneries.Un des plus gros distributeurs mondiaux de la viande de requin surgelée se trouve à Marseille,les deux autres en Espagne et au Maroc.Notre campagne a pour but de sensibiliser les pêcheurs,les vendeurs,les consommateurs,les jeunes et les pouvoirs publics à ce problème urgent du risque de disparition de l’espèce.Plus de 100 millions de requins sont tués chaque année dans le monde et ce carnage est en constante augmentation.Earthforce Fight Squad a besoin de fonds pour s’équiper en matériel médiatique et publicitaire(clips,tracts, affiches,banderoles,t-shirts,casquettes etc.) et en logistique destinée à cette campagne. Nous nous lançons déterminés dans cette opération et pourtant,il suffirait de choisir d’arrêter le massacre,mais la volonté politique et la vision à long terme de notre planète font terriblement défaut à nos sociétés très «court-termistes» et consuméristes.En attendant,vous pouvez choisir de ne pas consommer de requin,sous quelque forme que ce soit et de nous soutenir dans notre démarche avec une participation financière solidaire libre. *** Sur la liste de nos besoins détaillés plus haut ne figure pas un petit bateau d’intervention(7m) dont nous avons un besoin URGENT !!! Ce bateau servira à notre Ecopatrol et sera destiné à la surveillance et protection du littoral et zones marines protégées (incivisme, braconnage, relevés des données, observations…). A la plongée, le nettoyage de fonds marins et sorties en mer éducatives. Ce bateau nécessite un gros budget d’achat et de fonctionnement. Nous faisons donc un appel aux mécènes, donateurs généreux, aux sponsors, aux entreprises sensibles à la protection de la biodiversité et aux Ecovolontaires désirant participer en contrepartie à nos actions en mer. EFS/Pacifist Warriors is a NGO (Non Governmental Organisation), organized as a non-profit, voluntary group operating through mutual aid. Its funding is dependent on membership dues, private donations and sponsorship.
We need your help in this “Stop Eat Shark Meat” campaign. The severe overfishing of sharks, for their fins, meat, liver oil, cartilage, skin, or teeth and jaws as trophees or tourist souvenirs, threatens sharks of extinction. Sharks are being depleted faster than they can reproduce, and their extinction would in turn threaten the stability of marine ecosystems worldwide. Both French from the mainland and overseas departments and territories, as well as all Europeans, should feel deeply concerned as, for instance, they can more and more find frozen shark steaks in their local stores/supermarkets, as a replacement for swordfish and marlin. Likewise, it is no longer rare to see fresh shark meat at fish shops or in supermarkets’ fish stalls and it is now proposed in restaurants and food stores. Also, it clearly becomes frequently used as a dietary, food supplement, in pills or as liver oil. The main shark meat providers are located in Marseille (France) or in Spain. The purpose of our campaign is to raise the fishermen, sellers, consumers, the young as well as the public authorities’ awareness of this issue and of the need to prioritize it given the clear risk of extinction of the species. More than 100 million sharks are killed each year around the world, and this number is constantly rising.
EFS needs buy and print some advertising material like flyers, posters, caps, t-shirts and search for founds to organize this campaign.In the meantime, you can choose not to consume a shark, in any form whatsoever and to support us in our initiative with a free amount of financial participation.  Thank you for your commitment and your support so precious.

*** The list of our higher detailed needs do not mention an small intervention boat (23feets) . An urgent need which we have! This boat will be for use to our Ecopatrol and will be intended for the surveillance and the protection of the coast and the marine protected zones (lack of civic virtue, poaching, the data recording , observations …). Also for diving, cleaning of sea bed and to sea educational action for schools. This boat requires a big budget of purchase and functioning. Thus we call on to the sponsors, the generous donors,  to the companies sensitive to the protection of the biodiversity and to the Ecovolunteers wishing to participate in return in our actions at sea.
