The MB&F M.A.D.Gallery is pleased to announce the release of its first ever art book : « American Trucks » by Swiss photographer Ulysse Fréchelin – including a limited edition of 100 copies, numbered and signed.

A graduate of Vevey’s renowned School of Photography, specialized in still-life techniques using natural light, Ulysse Fréchelin draws a surprising portrait, not of trucks per se but of what they represent. He cleverly uses close-ups and inventive camera angles to demonstrate that the subjects of the images are not always what you think they are.

Born in Arizona in 2013, this series of photographs witnesses the artist’s love at first sight when discovering American trucks on the road. Trucks whose marked graphics, shiny chromes and vibrant colours – bright red, lemon yellow, sherbet orange… – cannot be ignored.

To accompany this exceptional release, the M.A.D.Gallery in Geneva is also hosting an exhibition of 8 photos selected from the book – each image available in a limited edition of 8 large-format prints.
