YOUR BLACK WORLD

YOUR BLACK WORLD

Hello everyone,

Today is the last day to sign up for the The Black Wealth Bootcamp at the special discount price.  From your responses, I am seeing thousands of people who are ready to build the kinds of economic empires that will sustain our children and grandchildren.  We are also seeking ways to get away from the corporate plantation, or at least not depend on it for our survival.

I often reflect on my own journey to leave my job after years of racial harassment.  I got to the point that going to work was like entering into a war zone, where I had to watch my back and worry about those who didn’t have my best interests at heart. I remember wondering if I was a good person and why I was being treated differently from my white colleagues.   The truth is that many of us are stigmatized and limited in corporate settings, and it hurts.

After reading about the journey of our ancestors and what they were able to overcome, I realized that there had to be a better way.  Once I had the courage to leave my plantation and create my own business, my life improved dramatically both financially and psychologically.  The journey has been truly amazing.

So, that’s when I came up with The Black Wealth Bootcamp.  The Black Wealth Bootcamp is a series of online interactive lectures, taught by me, that cover the foundations and fundamentals of understanding money, wealth, business creation, and many other topics that are relevant to people like us.  I lean on my 20 years of teaching Finance to college students to give you something even better than what I was able to provide in the classroom.

There will be homework assignments, virtual field trips, assigned reading and stimulating interaction with like-minded people with the common goal of obtaining a full understanding and commitment to the value of cooperative economics.

The topics covered in the class will include, but are not be limited to, the following:

1)   Why you were never meant to have a boss

2)   How I fired my boss and how you can do the same

3)   The COST Model for Black Economic Empowerment

4)   Setting and achieving long-term financial objectives

5)   Calculating your EEV (Economic Escape Velocity)

6)   The link between family and wealth

7)   How people make money on the Internet

8)   How to build your own Black Wall Street

And much, much more.

The simple goal of The Black Wealth Bootcamp is to help you to figure out your own path to freedom.  We won’t just learn theories, we will also take steps to apply those theories and formulate the daily practices necessary for all of us to be better people in the end.  Most importantly, you can position yourself in such a way that no one will run your life for you.

You can get all of this for little more than the price of a pair of Air Jordans.  But unlike a pair of shoes, this information will add value to the rest of your life.

You can find out more by visiting TheBlackWealthBootcamp.com.

Until we meet again, please stay strong, be blessed and be educated.

Sincerely,

Dr Boyce Watkins

Hello everyone,

Today I was thinking about a story that Dr Claud Anderson shared during one of his speeches.  I consider Dr. Anderson to be one of the great leaders of our time, someone to whom we should all be listening.

Dr Anderson says that, in Africa, the wildebeest herds migrate every single year, and every predator on the pathway knows this. They know that, when the wildebeests start their trek across the plains, their predictable activities will give the other animals an opportunity to eat.

Anderson compares the Wildebeest herd to black people and our spending habits. Corporate predators know that when black people get their tax refunds and paychecks, our behavior can be so predictable that they can plan ahead for our arrival, because they know that this is when they are going to get a chance to eat. Others eat good, feed their families, hire their friends and pass wealth onto their children, while our economic coprse lies in a pool of its own blood.

We must not allow ourselves to be at the bottom of the economic food chain. We deserve better than that.  That’s why I’ve created the Black Wealth Bootcamp.

The Black Wealth Bootcamp.  is a series of online interactive lectures, taught by me, that cover the foundations and fundamentals of understanding money, wealth, business creation, and many other topics that are relevant to people like us.

4)   Setting and achieving long-term financial objectives

5)   Calculating your EEV (Economic Escape Velocity)

6)   The link between family and wealth

7)   How people make money on the Internet

8)   How to build your own Black Wall Street

And much, much more.

Hundreds of you have signed up so far, and we have room for a few more.  I hope you’ll take that plunge and join me in class.  Anyone who thinks that black people aren’t committed to the revolution in Financial Literacy is crazy, many of us are working to build for our children.  It is going to work, I know it.

You can find out more by visiting TheBlackWealthBootcamp.com.

Until we meet again, please stay strong, be blessed and be educated.

Sincerely,

Dr Boyce Watkins

Friends and family,
Today, I was thinking about the amazing boxer Floyd Mayweather and the $4.8 million dollar car that he purchased this week.  A lot of my friends thought the purchase was a stunning display of Mayweather’s economic power, consistent with a public brand that has become defined by presenting all the ways that a person can throw money away and give it back to big, racist corporations that don’t even hire black people.
I’m not here to disrespect Mayweather, but I feel sorry for him.  That same $4.8 million that he spent on one of over a dozen luxury cars he owns could have easily been spent building a school to educate thousands of black children.   It could have been used to create jobs for thousands of black families.  It could help put a dent in the massive black unemployment rate that has persisted since institutions in our community were destabilized and annihilated by integration.
I honestly don’t think we need anymore Floyd Mayweathers in the world, for it appears that he doesn’t want to be anything other than a boxer.  This is his right.  But the fact remains that we don’t want our children wasting millions in resources that could be used to lift an entire community.
This is one of the things that led me to create The Black Wealth Bootcamp.   I am taking a limited number of students in a five-part lecture series in which I’ll be the teacher, and you’ll be the student.  You ask me direct questions and I will answer them.  I’ll give you information and assignments and you’ll walk away with a better economic life, all for less than the cost of a pair of Air Jordans.
The Black Wealth Bootcamp commences July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, and August 15 at 11AM EST. Although the full price for the lecture series is $249.99, you can enroll this weekend for $199.99+shipping (we’re mailing you some gifts). Click here to learn more information about the bootcamp.
Here are some of the benefits of enrolling in the bootcamp:
  • Access to me in real time: Ask me questions, observe the lecture, and participate in class assignments, in real time.  Basically, you’ll get what my students received from me as I’ve taught finance to college students for the last 20 years.  The main difference is that we will focus on black wealth and you won’t have to pay a massive $40,000 tuition bill.
  • Educational content and resources valued at $10,000+: You’ll receive actual PowerPoint documents, handouts, a branded notebook and pen, recordings from the sessions. You’ll also receive a free copy of It Takes a Village to Raise the Bar. The information you’re learning in The Black Wealth Bootcamp is centered around solutions and principles that I’ve taught my business and finance students at Syracuse University. College isn’t cheap; but fortunately, you no longer have to pay exorbitant admission and textbook fees to attain knowledge.
  • Access to exclusive Facebook networking group: Continue the conversation beyond Saturday mornings by networking with other students and The Black Wealth Bootcamp staff in a closed Facebook group. In the group you will exchange ideas, share resources, and acquire many other valuable tools to help you achieve your goal(s). This is a great tool to attain an accountability partner.
  •  Certificate of completion: There’s nothing more rewarding than having tangible proof that you’ve committed to empowering yourself through education. Once you’ve successfully finished the series, you’ll receive a frame-worthy certificate of completion in the mail to remind you of your commitment to a better future.

If you’re unable to attend class live, don’t worry. You will still receive the course materials, handouts, assignments, etc. You’ll also be able to network with your classmates via the private Facebook group created exclusively for students and The Black Wealth Bootcamp staff members. You won’t miss a thing.
If you’re a little strapped right now, you can use the Pay Per Class option which allows you to spread payments out and pay before each class.
Once again, I hold no ill will toward Floyd Mayweather, because he probably doesn’t know what his true potential might be (he’s been led to believe that he’s just an athlete, not much more).  But this class is my effort to help ensure that the rest of us realize that our vast economic power can change the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.  After all, we’ve got a trillion dollars in spending power, so it’s important that we learn the value of cooperative economics.
Until we meet again, be blessed, be strong, and be educated.
Dr. Boyce Watkins
P.S. The sale for the five-week session is available for a limited time or while supplies lasts — whichever comes first. Don’t miss out on your chance to enroll at a discount. Click here now.

Hello to my friends and family,
I woke up this morning thinking about two public feuds I had with Bill O’Reilly back in 2007 and 2008.  In one case, O’Reilly had made a joke about lynching Michelle Obama.  As a red-blooded black man, I couldn’t stand the idea of someone on national television making a joke about lynching the first lady.  So, I responded to O’Reilly’s heinous remarks with a series of articles on my blog.
The next thing I knew, I was getting calls fro my friends telling me that O’Reilly had been spending the entire week trying to get me fired from Syracuse University.  He even had a reporter ambush our chancellor on her way to work.  Honestly, this was new territory for me, since I’d only been doing national media for a couple of years.  I have to admit, I was mortified.
The pressure was heavy on both my chancellor and myself.  She had millionaire donors threatening to rescind their donations.  I had colleagues calling for me to be fired.  I was also pressured to apologize, even though I’d done nothing wrong.
Despite the pressure, I didn’t back down one inch.  I was able to hold my position for two reasons:  1) I was right.  No one should be allowed to joke about lynching the first lady of the United States and 2) I’d prepared enough financial protections to secure my income in the event that I’d lost my job.  I simply knew that, if I were to be fired by Syracuse University, I would have enough money to pay my bills and take care of my children.  I was going to be OK.
This is why I am so passionate about Black Economic Empowerment.  Your money is not just a tool for consumption.  It actually protects you in the event that someone seeks to do you and your family harm.
The Black Wealth Bootcamp is a web-based seminar (also known as a “webinar”) and interactive lecture series that commences July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, and August 15 at 11AM EST. Although the full price for the class is $249.99, you can enroll this weekend for $199.99+shipping (we’re mailing you some gifts). Click here to learn more information about the bootcamp.
Here are some of the benefits of enrolling in the bootcamp:
  • Access to me in real time: Ask me questions, observe the lecture, and participate in class assignments, in real time.  My #1 goal is to teach you the way I’ve taught my university students over the last 20 years.
  • Educational content and resources valued at $10,000+: You’ll receive actual PowerPoint documents, handouts, a branded notebook and pen, recordings from the sessions. You’ll also receive a free copy of It Takes a Village to Raise the Bar. You will still receive the course materials, handouts, assignments, etc. You’ll also be able to network with your classmates via the private Facebook group created exclusively for students and The Black Wealth Bootcamp staff members. You won’t miss anything.
I reflect on that Bill O’Reilly experience as an example of racial economic bullying, where many of us are forced to remain silent and not do what is right because we are fearful of the economic consequences.  I refuse to live in fear of telling the truth and neither should you.
These are the kinds of principles we will learn in this class.  I am 100% serious.
Until we meet again, be blessed, be strong, and be educated.

Friends,
As you gather with family this weekend to celebrate America’s independence, I implore you to ask yourself: “When is my Independence Day?”
Your Independence Day is the day you decided you were no longer willing to be an employee when you can be an employer. It’s also the day you decided you’d invest more than you consume.
If you haven’t quite claimed your Independence Day, I’d like to help you with that.
Over a period of five weeks, I’ll be teaching a group of ambitious and courageous Black Americans actionable steps and principles that will help them establish economic independence via ownership and money management.
I’m inviting you to join us.
The Black Wealth Bootcamp is a series of web-based seminars (aka a set of webinars) that commences July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, and August 15 at 11AM EST. Although the full price for the class is $249.99, you can enroll this weekend for the special price of $199.99+shipping (we’re mailing you some gifts and course materials). Click here to learn more information about the bootcamp.
Here are some of the benefits of enrolling in the bootcamp:
  • Access to me in real time: Ask me questions, observe the lecture, and participate in class assignments, in real time.  It will be the same as being in my classroom without the $40,000 tuition bill paid by my students at Syracuse University.
  • Educational content and resources valued at $10,000+: You’ll receive actual PowerPoint documents, handouts, a branded notebook and pen, recordings from the sessions. You’ll also receive a free copy of It Takes a Village to Raise the Bar. The information you’re learning in The Black Wealth Bootcamp is centered around solutions and principles that I’ve taught my business and finance students at Syracuse University, The Ohio State University, The University of Kentucky and Indiana University. College isn’t cheap; but fortunately, you no longer have to pay exorbitant admission and textbook fees to attain knowledge.
  • Access to an exclusive Facebook networking group: Continue the conversation beyond Saturday mornings by networking with other students, myself and The Black Wealth Bootcamp staff in a closed Facebook group. In the group you will exchange ideas, share resources, and acquire many other valuable tools to help you achieve your goal(s). This is a great tool to attain an accountability partner or group to help you meet your business objectives.
  •  Certificate of completion: There’s nothing more rewarding than having tangible proof that you’ve committed to empowering yourself through education. Once you’ve successfully finished the series, you’ll receive a frame-worthy certificate of completion in the mail to remind you of your commitment to a better future.

You will still receive the course materials, handouts, assignments, etc. You’ll also be able to network with your classmates via the private Facebook group created exclusively for students and The Black Wealth Bootcamp staff members. You won’t miss a thing.
It would be tragic for a short-term hardship to hinder your ability to claim long-term victory, so if you don’t have a lot of cash right now, I recommend considering the Pay Per Class option which allows you to spread payments out and pay before each class.
As I’ve said many times before, the next Civil Rights Movement for Black America will be centered around economic independence. No one will give us that independence. Like America, we will have to fight for it with every muscle in our bodies. Let’s start the fight now and create a better future of our children and grandchildren.
Until we meet again, be blessed, be strong, and be educated.
