I wanted to reach out in the hopes that you would be interested in covering Jean-Michel Cousteau’s new crowdfunding project and 3D film. InODYSSEA 3D, legendary Ocean Explorer, Jean-Michel Cousteau has created a 90-minute ode to the ocean taking audiences on a dive of a lifetime. For the first time we are able to see what life truly looks like for the world’s smallest sea creatures. In an effort to raise awareness that without healthy oceans, humanity is at risk, and to finalize ODYSSEA 3D, the producers have launched a $300,000 Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign at http://bit.ly/GogoOdyssea3D which will end on April 6th.
What makes ODYSSEA 3D of interest to your audience? During the filming of ODYSSEA 3D, Jean-Michel Cousteau and Gavin McKinney our Director of Photography, developed new technologies that will hold even the most accomplished divers’ attention. You will be presenting your audience with a new look into unique behaviors of these animals in their habitat and daily life that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
While ODYSSEA 3D has been partially financed by investors and sponsors, crowdfunding through Indiegogo allows the filmmakers to invite anyone and everyone from around the world to be part of the film. As with all crowdfunding campaigns, the producers have added perks such from eco-friendly t-shirts and water bottles, to invitations to a Director’s Cut Screening in LA, invitations to a private event with Jean-Michel Cousteau in Cannes, and an Online Q&A Conference including a surprise eco-friendly gift bag and more.
