Gary heads to the UK next to continue work on a new duo project with legendary singer/songwriter Peter Hammill (Van Der Graaf Generator).
A new solo album, “Gary Lucas Cinefantastique,” is released this fall through Brooklyn-based Northern Spy Records,
featuring Gary’s solo arrangements of music from the films of Fellini, Hitchcock, Herzog, and other greats.
The album also features excerpts of Gary’s score for the 1931 Spanish “Dracula”–which he performs next at the Jerusalem Film Festival July 6th–
and for Rene Clair’s 1924 “Entr’acte” , commissioned by the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
