The original “We Want Miles Band” this Thursday Friday and Saturday at the Blue Note New York!
Many people know that when Miles came out of retirement, he put together a comeback band in the early 80’s and we recorded 3 or 4 albums together. I’m going to have that band for 3 nights at the Blue Note NYC with @mikesternguitar @billevanssax @mcinelu on percussion and your’s truly on bass. We also have the very talented @russellgunn on trumpet and @drummerslams joining us too. I’m excited to revisit this music!
New York! I’m coming to perform in my home town in 3 weeks ! My residency at the Blue Note New York begins April 12- 17 and continues through the next week April 19-24. Check out who’s going to be joining me – I’m looking forward to each and every night!!
