We have been pretty quiet since the awards show but now, get ready! First, ABC has reached out to us regarding a new show called “Rising Star” so keep your eyes on NU as we will be posting details on how to get an audition and possibly even a private audition! They will have the casting call and film in Nashville 4/11/14 so start practicing! Location will be announced soon!
Second, NU member Billy Kay has written a book about how to make more money on your music. And we have to say it is full of information we did not know and we recommend it to everyone pursuing their music dream. Also, Billy has offered to give away 10 copies so if you want one, please email SurfNashville@gmail.com and in the header write Billy Kay Rocks (he really does). We will email you a pdf of the book and we have put a link on the home page to buy it. It is worth much more than he is asking as it has many WOW moments. Yes he is a genius.
Third, we will soon be looking for performers for our show during CMAfest week. This show will be on Friday 6/6/14 at the Silver Dollar Saloon from 1PM to 4PM so look for more details as we get closer. That show is always full on industry folks as most everyone is in town that week.
Fourth, yes Nashville Universe has ACM Award Tickets to giveaway so look for a contest soon for the star studded show in Vegas!
