I hope you’re doing well. This will be short and sweet. I have to get you updated on what I’ve been doing. I’m happy to say that my music/CDs have been requested and will be sold in Tokyo, Japan. It will be available in music stores there and I’m very happy and pleased to know my music is also playing there. They will receive Brand New Day, my 1st album Voodoo Charm, and my posters. Sometime in August, we’ll make an agreement for my 2nd album, SHY.
It is almost time for the release of my latest song and new music video Black Beauty, June 3rd. Everything is moving according to plan and my song Black Beauty will be featured on the station WYAB 103.9 FM in Jackson, MS with host Jim Thorpe on June 3rd. It will also be featured on different college stations and I will keep you updated when it airs.
I will have my music and products for sale on my website as well as Amazon, iTunes, Ebay, and other outlets. You can also purchase Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry’s T-shirt with his motto, Perry Music Heals the Soul. You can get it online at the link below or contact me and get free stickers, bracelets or a keychain. It will also be the name of Bill’s new compilation CD.
My goal is to go into the studio to record my next album this summer. Right now, I believe it will be titled Black Beauty as well.
With all of the devastating things happening in the USA (racism, hatred etc.) and around the world, I want to show something positive and inspirational. I know this song can uplift not only black people and people of color, but everyone, and I hope it will create an appreciation of our differences and our similarities. I hope my music and this song and video, in particular, makes you as happy as it makes me. I send all of my love, kindness, and care to You!

It’s been a while! I’ve been very busy getting my latest creation off the ground and I’m very proud and happy with the results. Along with working on new endeavors in my personal life, I have a New Video that I will release soon that will go with my latest single, which is the title track to my next album. The name of the song is called Black Beauty and it’s an uplifting and motivational song that everyone can relate too. And as a Black Woman, a Black Person, I sing about valuing myself despite all kinds of odds and I will always hold my head up high. I hope to inspire others to feel the same, no matter who you are. It’s a very inspirational song and I know you’ll love the video. It’s sexy, sensual, and just plain great. As I said before, I’m very proud of it. The video has been in production for 7 months and the editing process was just finished! It will be marketed to different demographics in the USA and other countries. There are a few things to iron out and the song/video will be released this Spring/Summer.
I also have bags, T-shirts, and even stickers with my Black Beauty logo on it that will be for sale in the next week. I will email the link to the Black Beauty website soon. And make sure you purchase one of Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry’s T-shirts and stickers because they are selling fast. Keep a look out because you will hear from me soon. I’ve decided not to buy a domain name with this site for the time being because I don’t need all of the services that comes with it. Along with my music, I’m working on an apparel line. And of course, I’ll have the standard like t-shirts with my logo and some with my image. As time goes on, I’ll add hats, bags, even stationary and more to the apparel line. It’s exciting to work on this and the different ideas of how I will market this and to who. I really think you’ll like my logo! Between us, it’s going to coincide with the song I will release. It will work in conjunction with each other as well as with the music visuals I’ll release.

I hope you’re doing well. Summer is gone, but it sure doesn’t feel like it. I’m enjoying the heat while it last and one of the things I wanted to do before the heat is completely gone is getting my bathing suit posters to you. I also have a poster from 2020, so I had to add it to the collection, although I look a little different.
I just recently finished a major part of my album. A lot of what I finished will be how I promote my album. Since I am doing mostly everything myself from writing songs, to producing and editing, and executive producer, I’m wearing several hats these days. I’m happy to stay busy, but it definitely takes time.
I have to build another website for my music and promotions. It’s a little disappointing that I couldn’t get the last one fixed, but the new site will be so much better and professional. I hope to have it finished by next week and of course, you will be the first to know.

I hope you’re well and having a great week. My album is moving along and I’m creating some pretty cool songs. I will have a least 2 remakes on this album, but of course, I’ll make the songs mine. I have been getting the cover photo together for the album, as well as promotional pictures that will be used in several ways. I hope to have another poster for you soon, but I have to admit, my main focus is this next album. That’s where my thoughts and energy are going.

I hope everything is going well. The month of July has been a strange rollercoaster for me and it’s only mid-way through. But I’m always grateful and happy to say that I cut and finished the title track of my next album and now on to step 2 with this particular song. I want to get back in the studio by mid-August to finish my album. I’m going to record the album in Oxford, MS and I look forward to working with a new music engineer.
I already have written several songs for this album, but I have a few more to go. I believe it’ll be a twelve-track album with the song I just recorded as the title track. Although I stick to my roots with this album (blues and R&B), so many things will look different like my hair and style. You will see this new look soon as I release images and information periodically. This new song is very special to me that’s why I am putting extra care into it and I sing it from my heart. I hope many people can find inspiration with my songs and album.
I have another beautiful poster for you! Make sure you get your poster because it’s one of my favorites. I have been working on my website (SharoPerry.com) and have been in contact with tech support practically every day, so I hope to have it up and running again soon. It is not in working order yet, but I will let you know as soon as it is.
Although my patience has amazed even me, I am more than anxious to finish and release this project. I believe it’ll be one of my Best projects to date and I want you to be a part of it. Thank you for all of your support through-out the years.

The other album that I’m featured on is by Al Basile from Rhode Island and it will be released later this year. We sang a duet and it’s a good love song that I’m sure will add another flavor to his album.
And what I’m doing for myself, I love it! I know I had to put off many things for a later date because of circumstances beyond my control, but heyyyy, I’m going into the studio next week to begin the tracks on my next album. I’ve been practicing religiously and still feel I can do better. I think this will be one of my masterpieces. A lot of thought has gone into this project. Now time for action! I had all kinds of emotions involved in this and it means so much to me. Of course, I’ll keep you updated on my progress.
It’s finally getting warmer and things are slowly picking up again on the music scene. We have a few gigs coming up in April and May. It’s not the gig schedule that I’m use to, but it’s a start and I’m happy for it.
Although I have been working on my album, the hours that I have lately have been insane. I usually work on the set on Women of the Movement for 12 to 14 hours, and the days I have off have been about music rehearsals. So, for the past few months this has been my life and any spare time I have, I fall asleep. Lol! But I love all of the work, busy schedule, and I hope to do so much more. It looks like WOTM will be filming until the 2nd week of April give or take.
I also have the honor of being on Bob Corritore’s new album, Spider In My Stew. There are 14 great songs on the album and I’m in the company of some really talented blues artists. It’s truly rockin’ so make sure you get a copy! It will be released May 14th and you can go to the pre-order link below and order a copy.
Of course, I have brand new Oh! So Shy posters for you! It’s the last of the jean dress series. Maybe I’ll put my daisy duke posters for sale next since it’s getting warm in MS. 😀 What do you think?

I hope that everything is going well for you and that you’re ok. Things have been moving pretty fast for me so far this year. I have been working on my next album and especially the single I’m going to release. It’s a beautiful, mid-tempo song that tells a heartfelt story that I know you’ll enjoy. As I mentioned in my last newsletter, I’m going to record a duet with a blues player from Rhode Island. We’re taking our time, mainly because the studio where he wants to record in Rhode Island is booked until March. I’m going to record my vocals in Vicksburg, MS. But the song is really nice and I can’t wait to get started. I have a few more musical endeavors stirring in the pot. I’ll let you know about that when it’s released.
I have also been working on a TV series called Women of the Movement and it’s being shot by ABC, which is incredible to me. Season 1 is about Mamie Till-Mobley, who was the mother of Emmett Till, the child brutally murdered by 2 racists. It’s nice being on set and it’s pretty cool to watch everyone in action. And to have a small part in this through background, working on the set, and getting a small role playing Cloyte Murdock Larsson, who reported on the Emmett Till case, is more than wonderful. Cloyte was at the trial in Sumner, MS and one day before the trial, she witnessed racial intimidation by 6 men in a truck. It’s an honor to portray someone who was a part of a major historical event. They are going to shoot the court scene next week, so I’ll make sure to post pictures.

I hope everything is going great with you. Since it’s getting close to Thanksgiving, I’ve been feeling extra thankful. I have been lucky to be able to focus and work on my music, modeling, & film. I’m so happy to say that I am featured in an independent film called They Found Me: Vengeance written, produced, and directed by Bill Perry, my brother. It’s a sci-fi movie that will be featured in Oxford, MS three times! It will be shown at Off to the Drive In, Nov. 15th, 2020 at 7pm and the other two showings will be at The Powerhouse in Oxford, MS Nov. 20th, 2020 at 7pm and 8:20pm. And of course you can get your own DVD copy today! Just contact me.
I’ve been working on my new album, but because of personal issues and especially Covid-19, I’ve had to postpone the recording again and again. This is disappointing, but I will get this album cut no matter what. It’s my 4th album and it’s going to be amazing! You know I’ll keep you updated on the whole process. ️

Although I have been modeling a lot more lately, music is my heart and you can expect to hear my new album in the future. Things have been delayed because of Covid-19, but the music goes on! When we can, I will also perform with Bill Howl-N-Madd Perry. I’m very proud of these new posters and you’re going to see me in a way you have never seen me before. Now for a little serious stuff, but you can expect me to be my fun-loving self as always in the next newsletter. The effects of the last few months have been a struggle for many from no fault of one’s own. Because of this, it has caused me to move in this new direction with my music, sound, and posters. Coronavirus has shut down live performances and therefore my main source of income. The posters in the past have been more of a thank you for ordering my CD and I could afford to do that even though I lost money on them. The new posters will reflect a higher cost involved in producing the poster. But to make up for that the posters will be much more interesting and sexy.
