Coming April 1 “Electric Truth” new solo CD! Produced by guitar brother Josh Smith, it’s an earthy, funky, bluesy record that also rocks (can’t help it!) Here’s the 1st track “EWF” recorded live with the amazing band Lemar Carter/Drums, Travis Carlton/Bass and Deron Johnson/Keys.

Music and specifically the electric guitar has always been my solace and my foundation: something that I can always count on in good times and especially in bad. Something I can trust. In a world of so much misinformation and deceit I find music and playing music more important now than ever before. “Electric Truth.” This track Very much inspired by the great guitarist Al McKay of Earth, Wind and Fire.

I was very fortunate to attend the TEC Awards Friday night. A fantastic evening with inspiring (and funny) speeches by honorees John Meyer and the legendary Hal Blaine. But of course TR was the highlight and he gave a very humble and insightful speech. The significant parallels with Les Paul were highlighted and made me respect Todd even more (didn’t think that was possible) Love you Todd. Thanks for everything!
