Missed the epic MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night? You’ve got some catching up to do! Here are some of the RCA highlights from the show…
The President of Pop, Justin Timberlake, received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award in honor of his 20-year music career along with winning the coveted Video of the Year award for « Mirrors. » Justin also walked away with VMAs for Best Direction (« Suit & Tie ») and Best Editing (« Mirrors »). JT breathed new life into this year’s show after a medley performance of hits spanning his solo career. Oh, and did we mention that all of those ’N SYNC reunion rumors were true?
Miley Cyrus stole the night with her performance of « We Can’t Stop » & « Blurred Lines » with Robin Thicke. COVERGIRL Becky G made her VMA red carpet debut and looked absolutely stunning! « Harlem » rockers New Politics (also VMA first-timers) had fun chatting on the red carpet during the VMA pre-show.
P!nk won the moonman for Best Collaboration for « Just Give Me A Reason » ft. Nate Ruess and powerhouse Jennifer Hudson surprised everyone with aguest feature on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ « Same Love. »

Kentucky rockers Cage the Elephantare slated to release their third studio album Melophobia on October 8th. Earlier this month, the band released « Come A Little Closer, » the first single from the new 10-track LP. The band will tour with Muse this September.
