This album was a fresh start for me. Amy Brat, the VizzTone Label Group General Manager, suggested to me in 2019 that I make my next album something I hadn’t done before, all-acoustic. !
I wrote new songs. I had guests Jimmy Vivino and Bob Corritore on one song each. My friend Peg Parham in Greensboro set me up for a successful acoustic show with the Fiddle & Bow Society. It sold out (financially, not artistically).
This album won a Blues Music Award and a Blues Blast Magazine Award for best Acoustic Blued Album of 2020. I started booking myself and had my best year ever booked. And then 1 year ago…you know…
Plan B: post live and home-made videos, write to you more about myself and Blues and give you everything I can from my days in Muddy Waters’ band. And instead of meeting you at shows and selling CDs, I offer them to you from my website merchandise link. Please check out my posts that describe my recordings and instructional book. And thank YOU for keeping THE BLUES and THE BOB alive!
I can’t play for you and meet you at my gigs for a while. Here’s my new EP, still at holiday prices, at bobmargolin.com/merchandise. My 4 previous CDs are there too, with a $50+shipping bundle, or individually. All personalized, signed and sent by me from home. Thanks for your consideration and I hope you enjoy my music.
